His father his elder, Elder T.E Oyakhilome (Assemblies of God Church, Benin City) was one of the first pioneers. His son who was his firstborn, pastor Chris, was indeed inspired by his father.  Pastor Chris Family Growing in the context of a Christian family is an amazing joy.

We can see the pride his father must have felt as his son began spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ being our Savior. His father's efforts surely been a huge influence on young Chris Oyakhilome. He went on his first mission at the youthful age of nine.

Chris Oyakhilome has kept his vow to pay tribute to his parents. Pastor Chris has honored his father by conducting prayer groups at university and delivering sermons before a large audience.

Pastor Chris honored his mother Angelina who turned 80 by hosting a party in Benin.

She is known as the "quintessential Matriarch", and she is admired for her fairness, grace and admiration. She is a loving mother, grandmother mother-in-law, mother-in-law, as well as mother-in- law who has passed her divine grace onto her son.

Super Siblings

Tim Oyakhilome and Angelina had two additional children. Pastor Chris's brother Ken is known respectfully as Reverend Ken. He is a highly respected Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Branch. His wisdom has impacted many lives. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

The sister of Pastor Chris, Katty Worghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry (LMAM). Katty Worghiren was an early participant in the choir. She is a gifted songwriter and has written some of the most iconic LoveWorld songs. She was the one who wrote "I Believe in Nigeria"

Katty writes the last and most poignant sections of the Believers LoveWorld Anthem. She adds the following message to emphasize the significance of the Christian family.

Two Outstanding Daughters

Pastor Chris was married to Anita and had two gorgeous daughters. His ex-wife Anita might not have wanted to keep their union but they are still extremely happy with their lovely daughters Carissa and Charlene. They both currently live in London.

The daughter of Pastor Chris Sharon has turned into a rising gospel superstar. She was inspired by her father to write the hit song "Holy Spirit", which is a tribute to her deep Christian devotion. The singer is also an inspiring director of the Global Youth Leaders Forum.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is one of the most prominent leaders in Africa. His talents are being used to encourage young people to hear the Word of God. He also serves as the CEO of Carel Films Enterprise and a businessman. This enables him to share the Good News through modern communication media. He is responsible to produce more than 100 Christian music videos.

He was just 20 when he was awarded the American Academy of Animations Award for the third time. He was also nominated for a Future African Leaders Award FALA as well as the Walt Disney Award. His true genius is shining through the genius of the others.
